- Between the Lions-- http://pbskids.org/lions/ Videos, games, and stories. Includes videos for phonics, including "two vowels go walking," etc.
- Starfall- http://www.starfall.com This website contains some decodable stories (Learn to Read tab) as well as plays and other genres (I'm Reading tab).
- Tumblebooks- this is a subscription-based service. Enter though St. Anne's website-Quicklinks-Library-Tumble Books. There are many books that your child can listen to.
- Online Storytime by Barnes & Noble http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/online-storytime-books-toys/379003588/- One book per month read by author or celebrity
- We Give Books- http://www.wegivebooks.org Free membership necessary. Provided by Pearson Publishing Foundation- access to over 150 online books, and the foundation gives books to those in need when you read books on their site.
- Storyline Online http://www.storylineonline.net Members of the Screen Actors Guild read picture books aloud. Many excellent picture books.

Word Families/Word Building Apps
- Montessori Words 1, 2, 3
- Montessori Words allows you to select words according to their difficulty or sound categories.
- Level 1 displays a three-letter word with no difficulty for beginning readers (CVC words).
- Levels 2 and 3 offer more complex words that contains more complex phonics (as long vowels sounds or blends). • Alternately, your child can choose from 44 sound categories--choose words that contain a specific sound (for example, long a, “k” sound, and so on).
